Useful Information

We take care of minor (not life-threatening) emergencies for children, adults, and seniors. Some of the most common conditions we see and treat include:

  •     All ear, throat, respiratory and throat infections: Our medical team is equipped to diagnose and treat a variety of ear, throat, and respiratory infections, including strep throat, sinusitis, and bronchitis. We can provide antibiotics, pain relievers, and other medications as needed.

 

  •     Prescription refills: If you need a refill of your regular medication, we can provide it on-site, as long as you have a prescription from your primary care physician.

 

  •     Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as stomach flu, food poisoning, or a urinary tract infection. Our medical team will perform a thorough examination to determine the cause of your pain and provide appropriate treatment.

 

  •     Fractures and dislocations: If you have suffered a broken bone or a dislocated joint, our medical team can provide X-rays, splints, and other treatments to alleviate pain and promote healing.

 

  •     Sprains and strains: Whether you’ve sprained your ankle or strained your back, our medical team can provide rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE) to reduce swelling and pain, and refer you to a physical therapist if needed.

 

  •     Sunburn: If you have sunburned skin, our medical team can provide soothing creams and lotions to alleviate pain and prevent peeling, as well as advise on how to prevent sunburn in the future.

 

  •     Common Cold: We can diagnose and provide medication for the common cold, which includes runny nose, sneezing, and sore throat.

 

  •     Stomach Flu: We can diagnose and provide medication for stomach flu, which includes diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach cramps.

 

  •     Fever: If you have a fever, our medical team can provide medication to lower your temperature, as well as advise you on how to manage your symptoms and when to seek further medical attention.

 

  •     Urinary tract infections (UTI) and bladder infections: UTIs and bladder infections can cause painful urination and frequent urination. Our medical team can diagnose and provide antibiotics to treat these conditions.

 

  •     Allergic reactions: If you are experiencing an allergic reaction, such as hives, rashes, or our medical team can provide antihistamines and other medications to alleviate your symptoms and prevent a more severe reaction.

 

  •     Burns (Minor): If you have minor burns, our medical team can provide wound care, pain medication, and refer you to a specialist for further treatment if needed.

 

  •     Coral Cuts & other Lacerations: We can diagnose and provide wound care for coral cuts and other types of lacerations.

 

  •     Scrapes: We can diagnose and provide wound care for scrapes.

 

  •     Infections: We can diagnose and provide treatment for various types of infections.

 

  •     Allergies: We can diagnose and provide treatment for various types of allergies.

 

  •     Pneumonia: We can diagnose and provide treatment for pneumonia, including antibiotics, , and other medications.

 

  •     Asthma: We can diagnose and provide treatment for asthma, including bronchodilators, corticosteroids, and other medications.

 

  •     Earache: We can diagnose and provide treatment for earaches, including antibiotics

 

  •     Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye): We can diagnose and provide treatment for conjunctivitis, including antibiotics and eye drops.

 

  •     Heartburn, Gas & Bloating: Heartburn, gas, and bloating can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as acid reflux, indigestion, or food allergies. Our medical team can provide antacids, H2 blockers, and other medications to alleviate your symptoms and prevent future occurrences.

 

  •     Diarrhea: Diarrhea can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as food poisoning, stomach flu, or a bacterial infection. Our medical team can provide anti-diarrheal medication and advise on how to manage your symptoms and when to seek further medical attention.

 

  •     Vomiting: Vomiting can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as food poisoning, stomach flu, or a viral infection. Our medical team can provide anti-nausea medication and advise on how to manage your symptoms and when to seek further medical attention.

 

  •     High Blood Pressure: High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a serious condition that can lead to heart disease and stroke. Our medical team can provide medication and lifestyle recommendations to help lower your blood pressure.

 

  •     High Cholesterol: High cholesterol is a risk factor for heart disease. Our medical team can provide medication and lifestyle recommendations to help lower your cholesterol levels.

 

  •     Hypothyroidism: Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough hormones. Our medical team can provide medication to help regulate your thyroid function.

 

  •     Work & Sports Injuries: We treat a variety of work and sports-related injuries, including sprains, strains, and broken bones. Our medical team can provide X-rays, splints, and other treatments to alleviate pain and promote healing. We can also provide referrals to physical therapists if needed.
  •     Digital X-Ray: We provide digital X-ray services to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, such as broken bones, lung infections, and more. Our X-ray services are fast, accurate, and convenient.

 

  •     Lab Testing: We provide a variety of lab tests, including strep and flu tests, to help diagnose and treat a range of conditions. These tests allow us to quickly determine the cause of an illness or infection and provide appropriate treatment.

 

  •     EKG: We perform EKG (electrocardiogram) tests to check the electrical activity of your heart. This test is used to diagnose conditions such as heart attack, arrhythmia, and more.

 

  •     Breathing Treatments: We provide breathing treatments for conditions such as asthma and bronchitis. These treatments help to open up the airways and make it easier to breathe.

 

  •     Minor Surgical Procedures: We perform a variety of minor surgical procedures, such as the removal of cysts, warts, and skin tags.

 

  •     Sutures & Removal: We provide suture services for wounds that require stitching, as well as suture removal for those that have already been treated.

 

  •     Wound Care: We provide wound care services for injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and burns. Our wound care services include cleaning, bandaging, and providing pain medication.

 

  •     Minor Fracture Care: We provide care for minor fractures, including splinting, casting, and follow-up care.

 

  •     Flu Shots: We provide flu shots to help protect against the flu virus.

 

  •     Sports, PADI, PUC and Work Physicals: We provide sports, PADI, PUC and work physicals to ensure that individuals are healthy and able to participate in the activities they are interested in.

 

  •     Tetanus Vaccination: We provide tetanus vaccinations to protect against tetanus, also known as lockjaw.

 

  •     Ear Wax Removal: We provide ear wax removal services to alleviate symptoms such as earaches and difficulty hearing.

 

  •     Incision and Drainage of Abscesses: We perform incision and drainage of abscesses, which are pockets of pus that can form in the skin or other tissues.

 

  •     Manipulation of Bone Dislocations: We provide manipulation of bone dislocations, which is a method of returning a bone to its normal position after it has been dislocated.

 

  •     Sea Urchin Removal: We provide sea urchin removal services for those who have been injured by sea urchins.

 

  •     Thorn Removal: We provide thorn removal services for those who have been injured by thorns.
